I am the creator of Snookermania! and I hope that all viewing this site find that it is providing what you are looking for in a web page devoted to snooker. I am only young my self and have been interested in snooker since I was eleven but never in my  time in playing this great game have I ever enjoyed such an experience as playing two of the best snooker players of all time. The time I played Steve Davis must have been the bigger moment out of the two as I had never played anyone like him berfor. I was able to play him through winning the Nailsea Snooker Center Junior League in 2000  and I had never been so nervous in my life! The very first thing he said when he walked in the door and went behind the bar was, " Anyone want serving?" so the nickname 'interesting' really does mean interesting. I was on third to play him and so far the other people who had played him had got slaughered which made me even more nervous but when I got to play him I was really  overawed by the Six-times World Champion until it came to the colours. I was left with a brown tight on the cushion so what was the only thing to do other than  to have a go at the double, I went for it and it went in! Steve Davis got down on his hands and nees and prayed towards me and I had never felt more on cloud nine in my entire life. He still won but I would have never swapped beating him for that double...actually,  yeah I would!

When I played Ray Reardon the nerves were a lot less maybe due to the fact that I had already played a top-class player before but the nerves were still there. I qualified to play him in a similar way by winning the Junior league again in 2001 and it was again a great experience.  When I got my chance to play  I potted a lot more balls than I did against Steve Davis and potted a 'nice' long pink into the right baulk pocket to prove my worth but yet again I was beaten by the player who entertained  the crowd with his pure perfection.
